2 dead, 1 seriously injured after accident on highway in New Hampshire

Two people were killed and one person was seriously injured in a crash on a highway in New Hampshire on Wednesday.

At approximately 1:13 p.m., crews responded to a crash on southbound I-95 in Greenland

An initial investigation revealed that a 2023 Toyota Camry, driven by 24-year-old Steve Le of Methuen, was traveling northbound when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the median and struck a 2019 Ford Econoline. collided, driven by Leslie Lynn, 58, of Roanake, Virginia.

Le and Lynn were pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in Lynn's Ford was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

Both the northbound and southbound lanes of I-95 remained closed near the crash site at mile marker 9.2.

Rescue crews are working to clear debris and investigate the crash. Traffic was diverted via exit 3.

New Hampshire State Police reminded motorists that using a cell phone while driving, crossing the median and using emergency vehicles are illegal and unsafe.
