Seattle experiences summer weather in late September

SEATTLE – The calendar officially says fall, but Mother Nature is still bringing summery weather to Seattle. Highs on Tuesday will reach nearly 80 degrees!

This morning felt like fall, with low clouds and a drizzle. The clouds will be slow to clear, but the afternoon sun will finally shine strong, while highs in the Seattle area will rise to 70-75 degrees.

Tomorrow afternoon it may also be grey and cloudy, but in the afternoon it will be spectacularly sunny.

So far this month we have had 12 days with temperatures of at least 21 degrees.

On Wednesday, wet weather is on the way again and temperatures will drop to around 18 degrees Celsius.

Thursday is expected to be predominantly dry, but isolated light showers cannot be ruled out in the early morning and evening hours.

Sporadic rain will continue on Friday, with maximum temperatures remaining above 15 degrees.

Even though the coming weekend is currently rather dry, it will be cool in the morning with lows of around 4 degrees. The maximum temperatures are expected to be just over 15 degrees.

The weather looks calm and dry for the Mariners, Reign and Sounders games this weekend!

We also expect the colors to reach their full glory in Seattle in mid-October.
