NLDS and NLCS tickets on sale

Los Angeles Dodgers postseason tickets for potential 2024 National League Division Series and NL Championship Series games went on general sale Wednesday morning. Fans can also purchase parking tickets in advance.

Mastercard holders had access to Dodgers playoff tickets starting Tuesday.

The Dodgers are playing baseball in October for the 12th consecutive year, during which they have won the NL West division in 10 years, with the only exception in 2021, when the then-franchise record of 106 wins was narrowly surpassed by the San Francisco Giants.

The Dodgers still have a chance to win the NL West for the eleventh time since 2013, but still have a magic number, as the San Diego Padres are mathematically still in the race.

In 2016, the Dodgers became the first team in MLB history to win the NL West four years in a row since the Divisional Era began in 1969. That record was eventually extended to eight in a row. Overall, the Dodgers trailed only the Atlanta Braves (14) and the New York Yankees (nine), who had the longest streak of division titles since 1969.

This year is also the eleventh consecutive season in which the Dodgers have won at least 90 games.

The last time the Dodgers failed to reach at least 90 wins in a full MLB schedule was 2012, when they won just 86 games.

The only year the Dodgers did not reach 90 wins during their current postseason run was the shortened 2020 season, when they went 43-17. That equated to a franchise-best .716 winning percentage, which is on pace to reach 116 wins for a full season.

Dodgers postseason scenarios

The Dodgers not only want to win the NL West, but also finish in the top two to begin their postseason participation in the NLDS.

If the Dodgers are a higher seed, Games 1 and 2 of the NLDS will be played at Dodger Stadium on October 5 and 6, respectively. If they are a lower seed, Games 3 and 4 will be played at Dodger Stadium on October 8 and 9, respectively.

If the Dodgers advance to the NLCS, it will begin on October 13th in the home stadium of the higher-seeded team.
