Trump is 'obsessed' with RFK Jr.'s sexting scandal with Olivia Nuzzi

Donald Trump is “obsessed” with the sexting scandal surrounding his new ally Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and new York magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi, according to a report.

The former president even called 70-year-old Kennedy, to whom he is married Curb your enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines — to ask whether the bombshell reports about him and the 31-year-old journalist were true and whether the relationship ever went beyond sending “nice” nudes, according to Puck News.

“(Kennedy) denied the whole thing to Trump,” a source with direct knowledge told the medium. “He said he barely knew her. He said he met her once.”

Trump was also apparently close to making a public statement about the alleged digital affair, as he “almost posted 'My condolences to Ryan Lizza…' on Truth Social, his social media platform,” according to the Puck report. Lizza, a Politico The journalist ended his engagement to Nuzzi last month after learning of her relationship with Kennedy Vanity Fair.

Trump apparently exercised more restraint than his adviser Corey Lewandowski, who tweeted and later deleted his own post about Kennedy gossip.

Nuzzi had interviewed Trump for an article published earlier this month that included, in part, a detailed description of the GOP candidate's ear, which was bandaged after the assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania in July.

new York The magazine placed Nuzzi on leave after learning of her “personal” relationship with Kennedy and added a note to the article that she had violated “the magazine's standards regarding conflicts of interest and disclosure.” The note goes on to say that she would not have been allowed to continue covering the 2024 presidential campaign if the magazine had known about the relationship.

In a statement to The Daily Beast, Nuzzi confirmed that she made some of her “communications” with a “former reporting subject that has become a personal matter.” She also said that the “relationship was never physical” but that she still should have disclosed it and regretted not doing so immediately.

Nuzzi previously worked for The Daily Beast.

This week, Kennedy declined to comment on reports about his relationship with Nuzzi when asked by Fox News. “I never comment on stories like that,” he said. Hines, Kennedy's wife, also dodged the question when asked about the scandal during her visit to Milan Fashion Week on Monday.
