Review of Devara Part 1

The review of the film by Hindustan Times stated, “Jr. NTR's performance and Koratala's script are inadequate when it comes to Vara, especially when compared to Devara. The actor manages to fill in the gaps even if the director doesn't fully focus on the title character. Especially in the song Ayudha Pooja and in a penultimate scene at a wedding, he falls short when he plays the son because his wide-eyed performance as Bhaira is unconvincing. But his character also needs seriousness in order to be seen as a serious opponent for Devara . Unfortunately, Janhvi's big debut in Telugu is more of a whimper than a bang.

About Devara Part 1

The film stars Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Tom Shine Chacko and Narain. In this film, Jr NTR plays a dual role, playing both Devara and Varadha. His character is central to the plot, which revolves around a dramatic conflict of wills in a coastal setting where power dynamics are constantly in flux.

Saif Ali Khan portrays Bhaira, a master of Kushti (wrestling), whose seemingly invincible world is turned upside down by Jr NTR's character. The film was released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
