Who has the best offense in the league?

It is said that you should only seriously look at a league table after ten games at the earliest. However, after just five games, the Premier League table is already taking shape as to what it will look like at the end of the season.

There are already a few surprises, but a ranking based on goals scored tells a different story for some teams. It shows who has the best attack and gives hope to teams further down the division.

Unsurprisingly, Manchester City also leads the scorers list with 13 goals. Erling Haaland has 10 of them and the Norwegian could break more records provided he stays fit throughout the season. An injury to Haaland would be a huge blow to City, but Pep Guardiola has already proven he can win the Premier League without a recognized striker.

Arsenal fall from fourth to sixth place. This could be a bit misleading as the Gunners have already played games where they were reduced to 10 men twice. Mikel Arteta's side also showed they can keep up with City in a 2-2 draw yesterday. The famous chant “1-0 for Arsenal” also comes to mind. This song refers to George Graham's Gunners, who won some crucial games by just one goal.

Chelsea managed to jump from fifth to second place with 11 goals scored. This could be a sign that Enzo Maresca is starting to crack it despite the mass influx of players at the club. Tottenham have moved up from 10th to fifth place, which will appease all of Ange Postecoglou's doubters.

At the bottom of the table, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton would climb out of the relegation zone as they both scored five goals. This gives Wolves and Toffees fans hope that they are facing a relegation battle this season. However, things are not looking good for Ipswich Town and Southampton as they only scored three and two goals respectively.

Every fan knows that scoring goals is the most difficult thing in football. Manchester City has the best offense with Haaland at the helm. Because of this, they are likely to win the Premier League again this season.
