Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are melting fans' hearts with a video of their new fur baby

The newest member of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's household is a stray kitten they call Corn.

“This is Corn Shelton,” Stefani wrote on Instagram on Thursday, September 26, sharing a video of the little guy. “The day he came home to us he was barely alive (and) so sick, but with a lot of love (and) care he became a healthy kitten. We are so grateful that he is part of our family.”

Corn appears to have experienced a dramatic recovery. In footage from the rescue, the cat looks dirty and sickly, with matted fur. But now he seems to be fine and is sneaking around Stefani and Shelton's porch like he owns the house.

And Instagram commenters cooed over the cat. “Thank you Gwen and Blake for saving this sweet little peanut,” one person wrote, praising the married music stars. “He’ll have the best guards ever.”

Another user said: “Welcome to the good life, Corn. You really picked the right family!”

Corn made his television debut in The voiceThe Season 26 premiere took place on Monday, September 23, when Stefani tried to recruit 15-year-old contestant Sydney Sterlace to Team Gwen.

“Well, you know, Sydney, this little thing happened to me,” the pop star said, retrieving corn from a stagehand. “This little creature came onto my porch. It was barely alive. And I thought, “I love you.” You're my new cat. But I don't have a name.' And then I thought, ‘Oh, maybe I could name it Sydney.’ This cat’s name is Sydney.”

Meanwhile, Michael Bublé took a pill and joked: “This is so sweet. I’m just taking a Claritin.”
