George Kittle is there, Deebo Samuel is questionable in Week 4

The San Francisco 49ers could be near full strength on Sunday when they host the New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium.

Two notable names were left off the official injury report. Quarterback Brock Purdy is back to fitness after dealing with some back pain early in Week 3. Tight end George Kittle will also play after missing Week 3 with a hamstring injury.

Here's who's on the injury report:

Out of

DT Javon Hargrave (triceps)
LB Curtis Robinson (knee)

Head coach Kyle Shanahan indicated that Robinson tore his ACL during practice on Thursday. Expect both Hargrave and Robinson to go on IR at the end of the season. The 49ers would have three open roster spots if they didn't fill them immediately.

Questionable

WR Deebo Samuel (calf)
LB Dee Winters (ankle)
DT Jordan Elliott (foot)
S Talanoa Hufanga (Ankle)
LT Trent Williams (toe)

A questionable designation is actually a good thing for Samuel after he was ruled out early for Week 3. Shanahan said Samuel would miss “a few” games after suffering a strained calf in the final moments of the 49ers' Week 2 loss. Samuel goes to work on Thursdays and Fridays, which gives him the opportunity to go on Sundays.

If Winters is able to play, we may see him at the Will linebacker position alongside Fred Warner. He was subbed in against the Rams before aggravating his ankle injury on a special teams play.

Elliott left Thursday's session with a foot injury but returned to practice on Friday. Hufanga is a new addition to the report after not being listed in the first two days of training. The same goes for Williams, who complained of toe pain on Friday.

If Williams can't play, the 49ers could have serious problems on offense. We saw the offense survive with running backs Christian McCaffrey, Kittle and Samuel, but they really struggled when Williams was out.

We'll find out more about the 49ers' injury situation 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday.

Kickoff at Levi's Stadium is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Pacific Time.
