Today's beaches are a little tricky, although it probably depends on your interests. Since I wasn't very familiar with the actual topic, I found myself a little lost and confused about some of it – even when I realized what it was about. Just in case it's the last day of September! Let's solve the last beaches of September!

Strands is the latest game in the New York Times puzzle game series. It's a fun twist on classic word search games. Each day we are given a new topic and then have to reveal all the words on the grid that fit that topic, including a spangram that spans two sides of the board. One of those words is this Spangram This goes from one side of the grid to the other and reveals even more about the topic of the day.

That was difficult! Definitely the most challenging Strands puzzle I've ever done since taking on these instructions this weekend. I'm not particularly knowledgeable about boxing, so BANTAM and WELTER aren't really on my radar, although when I discovered FEATHER (after already picking up HEAVY and LIGHT) I was pretty sure they were those Boxing weight classes, which led me to Spangram.
