'Mister. According to the lawyer, Prada was not involved in the doctor's arrest in 2015

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The 20-year-old man involved in the Dr. Nick Abraham was not the same person who accused the doctor of abuse in 2015, Abraham's former lawyer said Wednesday.

Abraham, a 69-year-old psychiatrist and former priest from Baton Rouge, was found beaten to death on Sunday.

Baton Rouge police issued an arrest warrant for Terryon Ishmael Thomas, a popular TikTok contributor known as “Mr. Prada” for allegedly colliding with Abraham’s stolen vehicle and fleeing on foot Monday afternoon.

“Mr. Prada” was arrested by police late Tuesday in Dallas, Texas.

As of Wednesday morning, no one had been charged in Abraham's death.

As WAFB reported in 2015, a then-11-year-old male accused Abraham of touching him inappropriately during a counseling session.

Defense attorney Jarrett Ambeau represented Abraham in the 2015 case and said the alleged victim in that case was not “Mr. Prada.”

“This is clearly not him,” Ambeau said Wednesday.

When he was arrested nine years ago, Abraham was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail, where he was later released after posting $25,000 bail, records show. However, the prosecution did not take the case to court.

“Although there was probable cause for an arrest, my office needed to determine whether the evidence supported our case at trial, which is evidence beyond a reasonable doubt,” District Attorney Hillar Moore told WAFB this week. “This matter has been under consideration by my office for approximately two years. After considering all available evidence, the best interests of the child and the absence of any incriminating statements from the detainee, we declined to press formal charges.”
