One of the biggest regional games of the year is just around the corner and the world of high school football will be right there on Friday night.

The top two teams in Class 7A will compete to secure the top spot in the region. Here's what you need to know:

  • WHO: #2 Auburn Tigers (5-0) at #1 Central-Phenix City Red Devils (5-0)
  • Where: Garrett Harrison Stadium, 3800 Summerville Road, Phenix City, AL 36867
  • When: 8:00 p.m. ET, Friday, October 4th

At least one of these two teams has reached the Super 7 in each of the last six seasons. The Red Devils, the reigning 7A state champions, have won five of the last six games in the rivalry.

Both teams had their games canceled last week due to rain, so they will certainly be ready for action by Friday night's kickoff.

Read on to learn more about both teams and what other games to keep an eye on this weekend.
