Watch: Alabama's Ryan Williams scores highlight 58-yard touchdown against Vanderbilt

There is no such thing as being literally unstoppable in college football. But Alabama football receiver Ryan Williams might come closest.

The 17-year-old true freshman continued his streak of long touchdown receptions Saturday when he climbed the ladder over a Vanderbilt receiver and evaded another Commodore for a 58-yard touchdown reception late in the third quarter. The score closed Alabama's deficit to 30-28 early in the fourth quarter.

The former five-star recruit became a household name in the Crimson Tide's 41-34 Week 5 win over Georgia, scoring a game-winning 75-yard touchdown catch late in the fourth quarter before tying the game six receptions for 177 yards and one completion touchdown.

Entering Saturday's game, Williams was Alabama's leading receiver with 16 receptions for 462 yards and five touchdowns, averaging a whopping 28.9 yards per catch. He also has a catch of at least 40 yards in each of his first five games of his college career.

The Saraland, Alabama native was the No. 4 recruit nationally in the 2024 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He was also rated the No. 3 receiver and No. 2 recruit in Alabama.
