Game updates, live scores in college football

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – No. 14 Clemson Football looks to win its fourth straight in its first road game of the 2024 season.

The Tigers (3-1, 2-0 ACC) have had the highest-scoring offense in the country, averaging 55 points over the last three games. They are led by quarterback Cade Klubnik, who has thrown a total of 16 touchdowns (four rushing) and one interception. Clemson defeated Stanford 40-14 last weekend to complete its three-game homestand.

The Seminoles (1-4, 1-3) have struggled despite being picked as conference champions by the ACC media in the preseason. They will start redshirt freshman Brock Glenn since former Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei is out with a hand injury. This will be Glenn's third career start after playing in the ACC Championship and Orange Bowl last year.

This will be the 37th game of this rivalry, with Florida State leading the all-time series 21-15.

Clemson vs. FSU results updates

Clemson pushed deep into FSU territory, but a tackle for loss and a sack derailed its push. Nolan Hauser attempted a 38-yard field goal, but it was blocked by a Seminole defender.

FSU responded with a touchdown after their interception on the previous drive. They made big progress with a 35-yard reception and a roughing the passer penalty.

Glenn capped it all off with a 13-yard touchdown to tight end Amaree Williams.

After an Avieon Terrell interception, the Tigers put together a four-play touchdown drive. Quarterback Cade Klubnik, who left with an injury but returned after one play, found freshman wide receiver TJ Moore for a 23-yard score on a screen pass.

Clemson has outscored its opponents 90-0 in the first quarter this season.

On the second play of the Tigers' third drive, quarterback Cade Klubnik found Williams, who took a hit from an FSU defender but stayed up, for a touchdown.

Williams, who left last week against Stanford with an undisclosed injury, scored his fourth touchdown of 2024.

The Tigers scored first downs on four straight drives, but their offense stalled in the red zone. Freshman kicker Nolan Hauser hit a 26-yard field goal to get Clemson on the board.

Clemson wide receiver Troy Stellato has three catches in the game, including two on this possession.

Clemson will receive the ball first and FSU will receive it early in the second half.
