Tigers vs. Guardians ALDS schedule: Game times announced

MLB has announced the Game 3 and Game 4 playoff times for all four American League Division Series (ALDS), so we now have a start time for the Detroit Tigers' first postseason home game since 2014.

The ALDS schedule has the Tigers hosting the Cleveland Guardians in Game 3 of the best-of-five series on Wednesday at 3:08 p.m. at heated Comerica Park in Detroit – their first home playoff game of the postseason. The Tigers defeated the Houston Astros on the road in the wild card series, winning Game 1 3-1 and Game 2 5-2. The Guardians had a bye after winning the AL Central Division by 6½ games over the Tigers and Kansas City Royals.

The Tigers last hosted a postseason game on October 5, 2014, a brutal 2-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles in Game 3 of the ALDS.

The ALDS game against the Guardians begins Saturday afternoon with Game 1 (1:08 p.m., TBS) at Progressive Field in Cleveland.

Tigers playoff tickets for ALDS vs. Guardians at Comerica Park

Game 3 at Comerica Park is Wednesday afternoon at 3:08 p.m. As of Friday afternoon, you can still find Game 3 tickets for less than $150 (standing room only) on StubHub.

Game 4 (if necessary) at Comerica Park is Thursday at 6:08 p.m. You can also find potential Game 4 tickets on StubHub for less than $130 (as of Friday afternoon). A win in three games by either team would mean there is no Game 4. Game 5 (if necessary) at Progressive Field in Cleveland is Oct. 12 at 4:38 p.m.

If the Tigers advance to the best-of-seven ALCS, they would play the winner of the ALDS between the New York Yankees and Royals. The Tigers would host Games 3-4 of the ALCS on Thursday, October 17th and Friday, October 18th in Comerica and Game 5, if necessary, on Saturday, October 19th.
