The Rock and Jimmy Uso return in the Wild Main Event

The Rock returned to WWE at Bad Blood 2024, as did Jimmy Uso. Fans went crazy when a masked Jimmy Uso saved Roman Reigns with two superkicks against the Guerrillas of Destiny. Reigns was outnumbered as Cody Rhodes was out of action after putting Jacob Fatu through a table.

The return of Jimmy and Rocky is likely to spark a bloodline civil war at WWE Survivor Series WarGames, and the return of The Rock will once again be a topic of discussion this PLE.

Rocky's return followed rumors of a major comeback after Rock reportedly attended a high school football game in the Georgia area. Bad Blood went off the air with a cliffhanger as it wasn't clear where The Rock's loyalty lay: to the OG Bloodline or the new Bloodline?

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teamed up for the first time as the two top babyfaces challenged the bloodline in their prime. This was Reigns' first appearance in four years without a world championship, but both appearances had all the pageantry of WrestleMania 40.

A star-studded main event led to tickets selling out for WWE's 60th sellout in 2024. With The Rock and Jimmy Uso heading into WrestleMania season, WWE is on track to surpass their previous two historic WrestleManias.

Everything that happened in Rhodes and Reigns vs. The Bloodline

After a standard Bloodline performance, Cody Rhodes was played by the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff Marching Band. Not to be outdone, Roman Reigns performed accompanied by the Georgia Philharmonic. The fans both chanted “OTC!” and “Cody!” before the game even started. It was no coincidence that Cody wore the red and gold colors of the Mega Powers.

After a short discussion, Cody Rhodes began the match against Jacob Fatu. Solo Sikoa jumped in to support his enforcer, prompting Roman to step in and deliver a huge crack to Cody's back.

Cody Rhodes responded to “OTC!” chants by tagging in Roman Reigns. Reigns knocked Solo down with 10-count punches. Temporarily solo. came back, but Roman sent Solo over the top rope.

Jacob Fatu comes and prepares Roman Reigns against Jacob Fatu. Away from the distraction, Solo attacked Reigns from behind with great heat.

Fatu came in and ran wild at Roman Reigns, including an explosive butt bump in the corner.

Reigns tags in Cody, but The Bloodline takes control as Solo Sikoa comes in and takes care of Cody Rhodes. Fans chant “You can’t wrestle” and “FU Solo” as he defeats Rhodes. Jacob and Solo took turns with quick exchanges while dominating Cody Rhodes with dueling butt bumps.

After many teased tags to Roman Reigns, The OTC finally turned on and ran at Solo Sikoa.

Solo Sikoa attempted to counter a Superman Punch with a Samoan Spike, but Reigns countered the counter with a Crucifix Rollup.

Jacob Fatu tipped the scales in the Bloodline's favor as the Bloodline alternated with Samoan Splashes and Moonsaults on Roman. Cody Rhodes saved Reigns by repelling the pinfall. Jacob charged at Rhodes from the outside, but broke through the barricade.

Cody Rhodes capitalized on this by putting Jacob on the table and diving through the table with a Cody Splash. Before making a splash, Rhodes told Reigns to take it from here. This led to chants of “This is great!”

As Reigns attacked Sikoa with the spear, the Tongans showed up to distract Reigns. This led to a Samoan Spike and a nearfall. Solo decided to go for another Samoan Spike, but was distracted by a man in a hoodie. The man defeated the Guerrillas of Destiny with a super kick and revealed himself to be Jimmy Uso. Roman speared solo for the win.

After the match, The New Bloodline attacked Cody Rhodes. Jimmy Uso convinced Roman to return to the ring and save Cody, which they both did. After exiting the ring, Reigns accepted the WWE Undisputed Championship and stared lovingly at it as fans booed him. He then reluctantly handed it over to Rhodes.

Cue The Rock, who came back with the People's Championship. Rock didn't say anything, gave the signal “1, 2, 3…” and walked away.
