Jets vs Vikings NFL London Match Results, Live Updates: New York and Minnesota travel to the UK for the second international game of the season

Surprising NFL MVP candidate Sam Darnold leads the undefeated Minnesota Vikings to London to face the New York Jets and Aaron Rodgers in the second international game of the year. Minnesota pulled off a bit of a surprise this season as its veteran signal-caller led the NFL in touchdown passes and passer rating in Week 4. That's certainly unexpected for the 2018 first-round draft pick, who was waived by the same Jets after the 2020 season and early career difficulties.

The Jets were hoping to have some stability at quarterback for at least the next few years when Aaron Rodgers arrived in the Big Apple before last season, but the torn Achilles tendon that kept him from playing all but four games in 2023 and a The mediocre start to this season – Rodgers is middle of the pack in touchdowns, yards and passer rating for the 2-2 Jets – could be cause for initial concern. That could change with a win over Minnesota and get Gang Green over .500 in the first of three straight weeks the NFL will be in London.

The Jets need a TD and an extra point to tie the game, and they have a quarter to do that. (They could also take the lead with a TD and a two-point conversion.)

Sometimes he walks a little cautiously, but he's back on the field, marching down the field. Phew.

  • This Vikings TD, presented by Jets penalty

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson had at least one chance to score that touchdown, but the Jets couldn't prevent themselves from being thwarted as they tried to keep him away from his catches. It gave the Vikings great field position and made scoring that touchdown a breeze.
