Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone has died at the age of 63

10:13 a.m. PT – Accordingly ChristopherObituary…he died peacefully surrounded by his husband, Rayand loved ones. The obituary states that Christopher's loving wife stood by him faithfully during the final stages of his cancer, which would ultimately end his life.

Another death in Madonnais the family… and this time it's her younger brother, Christopher Ciccone.

Madonna's brother died of cancer in Michigan on Friday … his rep told TMZ.

It's that second death in as many weeks for Madonna's family… just last month, her stepmother Joan Ciccone died after a battle with what was described as a very aggressive cancer.

Christopher and Madonna were tied at the hip when their careers were just beginning, and he famously served as one of their backup dancers.

He later graduated as a show designer and backstage designer for Madonna… and was the art director for Madge's “Blonde Ambition” world tour.

Christopher was also Madonna's tour director for The Girlie Show…and he directed music videos for Tony Bennett And Dolly Parton.

Madonna and Christopher, who also had a career as an interior designer, came into the public eye in 2008 when he mocked her in his biography “Life With My Sister Madonna,” which became a New York Times bestseller.

The two eventually reconciled and launched his own shoe collection in 2012.

Christopher was 63.
