Tensions between San Diego Padres outfielders and Los Angeles Dodgers fans escalated in the seventh inning of Game 2 of the National League Division Series on Sunday.

After outfielder Jurickson Profar went back and forth with Dodgers fans, two baseballs were thrown in his direction from the crowd, followed by trash and other items.

The fans in the left seats at Dodger Stadium threw two baseballs in the general direction of Jurickson Profar. The Padres and the entire umpiring team have gathered in left field as the stadium's PA announcer asks fans not to throw anything onto the field.

Shortly after, fans began throwing objects at Fernando Tatis Jr., causing another delay.

After a lengthy delay, fans finally stopped throwing objects and play resumed.
