Watch Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb eviscerate Dak Prescott again despite apology in Week 3

It was just two weeks ago that CeeDee Lamb faced Dak Prescott in the Dallas Cowboys' loss to the Baltimore Ravens because he was frustrated by his lack of effort. It was a terrible look from Lamb, who showed poor body language throughout the game and allowed his emotions to spill over into his performance.

Lamb committed several key drops and Prescott barely looked his way as the Cowboys stormed back in the fourth quarter. The All-Pro receiver did not speak to reporters after the game, but apologized a few days later, refuting any theory that he and Prescott were not on good terms.

That was a big relief, but Lamb and Prescott took a step backwards Sunday night given Dallas' sluggish offensive performance against the Steelers.

After an ugly red zone interception by Prescott, the NBC broadcast showed Lamb chewing out his quarterback again. We prefer to rely on the professional leaders, but the slow-motion replay gave the impression that Lamb was critical of Prescott's throw.

We're hesitant to buy into the narrative pushed by NBC broadcasters Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth. Lamb and Prescott have high standards for each other. While Prescott remains calm despite adversity, Lamb wears his emotions on his sleeve.

Then again, outsmarting their quarterback is unlike most superstar receivers. A single incident is one thing, but this is the second time in three games that Lamb has publicly criticized Prescott on the Cowboys sideline.

Similar to Lamb's breakout in Week 3, the WR's hands are anything but clean. Replay of the interception showed Lamb abandoning his route. There was clearly a miscommunication between Prescott and Lamb, but the fifth-year pro broke into a trot at the end of his route while the QB expected Lamb to show the back shoulder.

It wasn't a great call (or throw) from Prescott, who lost a fumble in the red zone early in the game, but it's an equally harsh look for Lamb because he appeared to criticize his quarterback as he essentially won the playoff . He wasn't expecting the ball.

It's worth noting that Lamb spoke enthusiastically about his relationship with Prescott when apologizing for his Week 3 performance. Perhaps Lamb being vocal on the sidelines has become the norm.
