Watt records his 100th career sack

“I think one day I’ll be able to do that, but not now.”

Watt entered today's game with 99.5 sacks and recorded a sack in each of the Steelers' first three games. With Prescott's half sack, he reached 100 sacks in his career and counting.

Watt became the second-fastest player to reach 100 career sacks, doing so in 109 career games. Only Hall of Famer Reggie White did it faster, reaching the 100-sack mark in 96 games. Watt is also one of only three players to reach 100 career sacks before the age of 30.

Achieving this in such a short amount of time is a testament to Watt's consistency, which he is proud of.

“When you talk about wanting to be successful and be one of the greats, the main thing is whether you can do it week in and week out,” Watt said. “Can you repeat this season after season?” This is what I want to do. I want to have a huge body of work that shows constant effort and constant production.”

“I'm trying not to get complacent but to continue to find ways to get the most out of this game because the sand is running through the hourglass and I just want to keep playing and having fun.”

“This is the best job in the world. I said that from the beginning. I enjoy it so much and I’m still finding ways to get better and improve.”
