Xavier Worthy Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

1 day agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy faces the New Orleans Saints in Week 5 on Monday night. The Chiefs' rookie receiver had three catches for 73 yards and a touchdown in last week's game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Worthy has scored exactly four times in the last three games and has yet to surpass 100 yards rushing this season. With the loss of Marquise Brown and most recently Rashee Rice to injured reserve, the Chiefs may need to add Worthy. Worthy also made five appearances this season, so the Kansas City coaching staff is looking for ways to get the ball in his hands. The Saints defense should also be a favorable matchup for the rookie receiver this week. The Saints have given up the ninth-most passing yards to opposing offenses this season, so Worthy should have a chance for a big game this week. Despite the duel and loss of receivers, Worthy's role in the passing attack is not yet clearly defined.
