Derrick Henry extends lead against Cowboys with 26-yard touchdown

ARLINGTON, Texas – Lamar Jackson and the winless Baltimore Ravens made an early statement against the Dallas Cowboys.

Jackson capped off his impressive opening drive by running unchallenged into the end zone for a 9-yard touchdown. It was the 30th rushing touchdown of his career, and he became only the seventh quarterback since 2000 to reach that mark.

It was Jackson's first rushing touchdown in 11 games. It was a familiar start for the Cowboys, who have allowed points on their first drive in all three games this season.

After losses to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders, the Ravens want to avoid slipping to 0-3 for the second time in franchise history.

The opening drive of the second half was just as impressive as Baltimore's first drive of the game. Running back Derrick Henry eclipsed 100 yards for the first time on the Ravens when he scored a 26-yard touchdown early in the third quarter.

Henry capped a drive in which the Ravens ran the ball on every play by running up the middle, shaking off a tackle and then diving into the end zone. His 18 yards after contact were his most on a run this season.

With this score, Henry had 110 yards and two touchdowns on 15 attempts and the Ravens led the Cowboys 28-6.
