Faridabad Haryana Election Results Live:The counting of votes for the Haryana assembly elections began on Tuesday, October 8.

Voting for all 90 Haryana Assembly constituencies was held in a single phase on October 5 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

According to the Election Commission of India, 67.90 percent of the votes were in favor of the general elections in Haryana.

Faridabad district in Haryana recorded the lowest voter turnout at 56.49 percent.

It has a total of six assembly seats: Prithla, Faridabad NIT, Badkhal, Ballabgarh, Faridabad and Tigaon.

A total of 13 candidates are in the fray from Prithla constituency, 9 from Badkhal, 8 from Faridabad, 13 from Faridabad NIT, 13 from Tigaon and 8 from Ballabgarh.

The highest 75.36 percent votes were recorded in Sirsa district.

Among other districts, 67.62 percent of voting took place in Ambala district, while 65.23 percent of voting took place in Panchkula district, 74.20 percent in Yamunanagar district, 69.59 percent in Kurukshetra district, 72.36 percent in Kaithal district and 65.67 percent were recorded in Karnal district, 68.80 percent in Panipat district, 66.08 percent in Sonipat district, 72.19 percent in Jind district and 74.77 percent in Fatehabad district.

Similarly, Hisar district recorded 70.58 percent of votes, Bhiwani district 70.46 percent, Charkhi Dadri district 69.58 percent, Rohtak district 66.73 percent, Jhajjar district 65.69 percent, Mahendragarh district 70, 45 percent and Rewari district recorded 67.99 percent percent, Gurugram district recorded 57.96 percent, Mewat district recorded 72.81 percent and Palwal recorded 73.89 percent.

The majority number for forming a government in the 90-member assembly is 46.

Dainik Bhaskar suggested in his survey that the Congress will get 44-54 seats, the BJP 15-29 and others possibly 4-9.
