Robbed Walker Buehler of the Dodgers at Santa Anita Park and stole a watch valued at 0.00

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Walker Buehler was reportedly robbed at the Santa Anita Race Track in Arcadia, California over the weekend. According to ABC 7, Buehler was with his wife when a crowd surrounded them, unbuttoned his shirtsleeve and stole his $100,000 watch.

The unfortunate situation arises as the Dodgers are in the middle of their National League Division Series against the San Diego Padres and the knotted series moves to San Diego for Game 3 on Tuesday night. Buehler should take over the ball for the Dodgers.

As the report notes, Buehler is a big fan of horse racing and owns a micro-stake in American racehorse Authentic, trained by Bob Baffert.

Although there is very little information about the robbery at this time, racing occurred at Santa Anita Park over the weekend. The Dodgers also played Games 1 and 2 against the Padres on Saturday and Sunday.

Buehler had an interesting year for the Dodgers, with 16 regular season starts and just one win to go along with six losses. His 5.38 ERA this season is the worst of his career since he became a consistent starter for Los Angeles in 2018.

The 30-year-old is a two-time All-Star, earning the award in both 2019 and 2021, and was a member of the Dodgers' World Series-winning team in 2020.
