Kamala Harris tells Howard Stern Trump is a 'sore loser' in interview blitz | Kamala Harris

Kamala Harris appeared on the Howard Stern Show on Tuesday, called Donald Trump a “poor loser” and received an endorsement from host Howard Stern.

Her appearance on the radio show, whose audience is predominantly white and male, comes as Harris conducts a series of sit-down interviews on popular talk shows and podcasts, including Stern, The View, the podcast Call Her Daddy and the Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

During the show, Harris criticized Trump for saying he would be a “dictator” on Day One and called him a “poor loser” for his role in spreading false claims of widespread voter fraud after the 2020 election. “You understand “What dictators do,” Harris said. “They lock up journalists, they put people who protest on the streets in jail.”

The interview comes just weeks after Trump, who has appeared on Stern's show in recent years, claimed on Fox News that the host was “woke.” Last year, Stern shrugged off the accusation, telling listeners that he took “woke” as a compliment and that “the opposite of being awake is being asleep.”

The interview also touched on personal topics – from therapy (she's not currently seeing a therapist) to her preferred choice of breakfast cereal (Special K) to her family.

During the interview, Stern asked if she thought there were Americans who would refuse to vote for a woman.

“Listen, I was the first woman in almost every position I had,” Harris said. “I believe that men and women support women in leadership positions. And that’s my life experience and that’s why I’m running for president.”

Stern announced that he plans to vote for Harris. According to the show, Stern's audience is overwhelmingly white and male, a demographic that the Harris campaign and the Democratic Party have sought to win over through campaigns like “White Dudes for Harris” — which began as a Zoom call and aired on July 29 attracted around 200,000 visitors.

Harris also appeared on ABC's “The View” on Tuesday, where she announced a plan to expand Medicare to include home health care for seniors. Asked if she would have done anything differently than Biden over the past four years, Harris defended Biden's legacy, saying “she can't think of anything,” adding that she played a role in most of the administration's major decisions.

Harris' series of sit-down interviews is likely intended to reach key audiences — and allay criticism of her rare interviews with journalists. Their media frenzy continues when a taped interview on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert airs Tuesday night.
