Dellenger's report quotes a power conference athletic director as saying, “His claim is that everyone will be bailed out.”

Led by former Disney executives, the model would retain the four-power conference, expand the postseason, revise scheduling and provide staggered revenue distribution.

This would allow for more games between power conference programs while eliminating Group of Five and FCS opponents from the schedule. In addition, the media rights of the 70 schools would be consolidated as part of an agreement.

The proposed changes would be an attempt to increase each school's revenue, and with conferences coming up, it would give the larger programs a larger share of the money while giving smaller programs a chance to stay relevant.

While there is no possible timeline for implementing this system, it would be the most sweeping change to college football in modern times.

The Ohio State alum will visit Eugene this weekend

Five-star safety Trey McNutt, a former Ohio State target, will be in Eugene this weekend to watch the Buckeyes play Oregon.

McNutt is the No. 19 overall prospect and No. 1 safety in the 2025 class and is a native of Shaker Heights. He chose Oregon over Ohio State in early August, forcing the Buckeyes to look elsewhere for safety in the class.

It appears McNutt will be one of the few targets for Oregon to compete at Autzen Stadium on Saturday, as it is one of the biggest games in the stadium's history. Given the expected crowds, both in the media corps and fans in the stands, it's likely to be a weekend where McNutt will be just one of many talented recruits on campus.
