Brevard County wakes up Thursday to extreme winds, massive power outages and flooding across the Space Coast due to Hurricane Milton. A likely tornado touched down in Cocoa Beach on Wednesday.

Reports of flooding were received from across the county. A hotel in Grant was flooded and had to be evacuated. From Satellite Beach to Rockledge, the streets were under water. Rainfall in northern Brevard was expected to be so severe that a fourth shelter was opened.
