VIDEO: Tornado tears through West Palm Beach neighborhood as Milton hits Florida

A massive tornado ripped through West Palm Beach on Wednesday afternoon, leaving a trail of destruction in the area.

Images of the hurricane show the West Palm Beach neighborhood being hit and debris flying into the air.

The aftermath shows scattered parts of houses on the street.

One of the pictures shows a dumpster stuck in the roof of a house after the tornado passed through.

The video below shows a tornado in Palm Beach Gardens.

Milton sparked a tornado outbreak across Florida before making landfall near Siesta Key, Florida, on Wednesday evening as a Category 3 hurricane.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews responded to multiple tornado-related incidents in the Wellington, Acreage and Loxahatchee areas surrounding Palm Beach on Wednesday.

“The Palm Beach County Fire Department immediately dispatched at least 40 units to affected areas while the tornado was still circulating,” officials said.

They said they transported five patients and treated other injured people during the storm.
