Live Updates: The Tigers look to clinch the ALCS spot against the Guardians at Comerica Park

Below 2nd: The Tigers tie the game, but have to be a little disappointed after scoring just one run after loading the bases with no outs. Colt Keith and Zach McKinstry drew walks while Spencer Torkelson singled. Trey Sweeney drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, but then Torkelson was doubled from second base on a lineout by Jake Rogers. Guardian 1, Tiger 1

Top 2: A hitless second inning for Reese Olson: two strikeouts, a walk and then a fly ball to end the inning. Guardian 1, Tiger 0

Below 1st: Parker Meadows hits a leadoff double — he has now scored safely in all six of the Tigers' playoff games — but the Tigers can't do anything with it as they go down in order after that. Guardian 1, Tiger 0

Top 1: The 20-inning scoreless streak for the Tigers pitching staff ends quickly here. Reese Olson gives up back-to-back singles to lead off the game and then an RBI single to Lane Thomas (Steven Kwan stole the third without throwing). Nothing powerful, but plenty of contact across the Tigers infield to get the Guardians on the field. Guardian 1, Tiger 0

DETROIT – After a successful home postseason opener, the Tigers are looking for more playoff baseball at Comerica Park.

And you can achieve that with a successful day on Thursday.

The Tigers will face the Guardians with a 2-1 lead in Game 4 of the ALDS matchup at Comerica Park. With a win, they could secure a spot in their first ALCS since 2013.

To get there, they'll have to overcome the Guardians and starter Tanner Bibee, who held the Tigers scoreless over 4 2/3 innings in a Cleveland win in Game 1.

The Tigers will counter with Reese Olson, who is expected to get a traditional start after the team used Keider Montero as the opener in Game 3.

It's shaping up to be another nice day for October baseball in Detroit, with temperatures slightly lower than Wednesday and a later game.

First pitch is at 6:08 p.m
