Donald Trump stays in Chicago overnight: report

CHICAGO – Former President Donald Trump will reportedly be in Chicago on Thursday evening and will stay at his namesake Trump Tower downtown before his planned trip to Colorado on Friday.

Trump would reportedly arrive at O'Hare International Airport from Detroit sometime in the late afternoon or early evening.

Increased security was seen near Trump Tower as FOX 32 cameras captured police officers and K9 units inspecting vehicles.

According to the Sun-Times, Trump's running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, will headline a suburban fundraiser on Monday. Trump will be back in town on Tuesday to speak at the Economic Club of Chicago.

The Trump and Kamala Harris campaigns are in their final stages, with less than 30 days until Election Day. Current polls show a tight race between Trump and Vice President Harris.
