The San Francisco 49ers have released the inactive list for their Week 6 game against the Seattle Seahawks. These seven players will not be eligible to play in the game.

On Sunday, cornerback Charvarius Ward suffered a bruised knee against the Arizona Cardinals and was officially listed as questionable for Thursday night's game. When asked about his status on Tuesday, he replied: “I feel good, good enough. I feel good. Yes, I’m fine.”

Despite his optimism, Ward was ultimately classified as inactive.

On Wednesday, the 49ers ruled out four players: defensive tackle Jordan Elliott (knee), linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (calf), safety Talanoa Hufanga (wrist) and kicker Jake Moody (right ankle). Hufanga was later placed on injured reserve and is expected to miss at least a month after tearing wrist ligaments in the game against the Cardinals. The team has listed wide receiver Chris Conley (oblique) as questionable and he is active.

The 49ers also made another roster move on Wednesday, promoting tight end Brayden Willis from the practice squad to the active roster. However, Willis is one of the seven inactive players.

Just hours before kickoff, the 49ers announced that defensive lineman Evan Anderson and safety Jaylen Mahoney had been temporarily removed from the practice squad for the game. Both players will return to the training squad after the match.
