The staggering sum that OnlyFans' CEO has paid out to YouTubers since the company's founding reports

The CEO of subscription-based social media platform OnlyFans has revealed that the company has paid out $20 billion to its founders since its founding in 2016.

CEO Keily Blair was speaking at the Bloomberg Screentime conference in Los Angeles, California on Thursday when she revealed the incredible number.

The UK-based company relies solely on subscriptions, pay-per-view events or tips for its online creators, with a large proportion creating adult content.

Blair said: “Porn is free on the internet.” I think the reason people pay for OnlyFans is because they want to interact with those particular creators.

“This is due to the ability to customize and request specific content.”

She continued: “Everyone assumes it's sexy content.” Some of it is sexy content and we're very happy with it. We are an inclusive platform, and for good reason.

“We believe it is very important for adult content creators to have a safe space to make money and to be able to do so alongside other content creators.”

“We are all adults, we are all adults, we can all choose what content we subscribe to.”

The site had reported record sales and profits for fiscal 2023, according to a regulatory filing last month seen by Variety.

Payments made through the online platform rose 19 percent from $5.55 billion in 2022 to $6.63 billion last year.

The number of registered users of the website also rose by 28 percent in the financial year to a total of 305 million US dollars.

Commenting on these figures during the conference, Blair said: “Yes, it was a good year,” adding that the company had no plans to go public.

Since the company began taking the internet by storm, celebrities from all walks of life were quick to open their own accounts.

Matteo previously praised the platform to DailyMail.com for “saving her life” after her refusal to get vaccinated against COVID cost her acting gigs, leaving her with just $10 left.

Although she was initially hesitant, she revealed in February that her racy uploads proved so lucrative that she managed to save her home from foreclosure within just five minutes of joining.

“It saved us,” she told DailyMail.com exclusively. “OnlyFans saved my life 100 percent. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it really saved us.”

Through tears, she continued: “Anyone who wants to judge me and belittle me does. “I just hope you never find yourself in the situation I was in, having to take care of two small children.

“It saved my home for many years, which was very important to us.” And on top of that, it gave me enough money to start and finance ULTRAFREE.”

“I always ask myself, 'What should I do with my feet?' Should I stomp grapes? Put whipped cream on top?' she mused to People.

Over the years, the Don't Cha singer has revealed that while she finds the demand to see her feet strange, it isn't all that surprising.

“There used to be sites on the internet dedicated to my feet in high heels. I came across it once by accident, so I always knew it existed,” she recalls.

Other stars who have accounts on the site include Cardi B, Donna D'Errico, Bhad Bhabie and Blac Chyna.
