The North Carolina Tar Heels will host the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday (noon, CW Network) at Kenan Stadium in Week 7 of the college football season.

The Tar Heels (3-3, 0-2 ACC) have lost three straight and three in a row to the Yellow Jackets (4-2, 2-2), who haven't lost to UNC since 2019. Georgia Tech has a 33-22-3 all-time advantage in the series, including wins in five of the last seven meetings.

UNC is trying to get its first ACC win since November 2023 against rival Duke. The Heels are coming off a 34-24 loss to Pitt and the Jackets handed Duke their first loss, 24-14, in Week 6.

UNC wide receiver JJ Jones, wearing Tylee Craft's No. 13 jersey, caught a 4-yard touchdown pass from Jacolby Criswell with 34 seconds left in the second quarter. UNC trailed 17-14 in the second quarter.

Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King's 20-yard TD run extended the Yellow Jackets' lead to 17-7 with 1:54 left in the first half.

UNC's defense had a goal-line stand and Georgia Tech kicker Aidan Birr hit a 26-yard field goal to give the Yellow Jackets a 10-7 lead with 7:36 left in the first half.

UNC and Georgia Tech are tied at the start of the second quarter.

UNC quarterback Jacolby Criswell's 1-yard touchdown run helped the Tar Heels make it 7-0. The touchdown was set up by a 53-yard pass from Criswell to wide receiver JJ Jones, who wears the number 13 and “Craft” on the back of his jersey in honor of Tylee Craft.

Georgia Tech running back Chad Alexander had a 2-yard touchdown run to give the Yellow Jackets an early lead against UNC. The Tar Heels trailed 7-0 with 6:12 left in the first quarter.

On UNC's first possession, Georgia Tech applied pressure on third down and forced a fumble. Quarterback Jacolby Criswell lost the ball on a hit and it was recovered by the Yellow Jackets.
