The college football world reacts to the Ducks' win

It was the culmination of one of the most anticipated days of the 2024 college football regular season.

And No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Oregon didn't disappoint.

The Ducks looked like a potential chance for the Buckeyes to clinch the win when they shut down the defense on Ohio State's final possession and held on for a 32-31 victory at Autzen Stadium on Saturday. Ducks kicker Atticus Sappington made the game-winning 19-yard field goal to give the Ducks the lead with 1:47 to play.

Ohio State quarterback Will Howard struggled on Ohio State's final play and slipped as time expired. Ohio State ran out of time to use the remaining timeout to set up a potentially game-winning field goal.
