Where the Oregon Ducks rank in Joel Klatt's Week 6 rankings

It took a few weeks, but the Oregon Ducks managed to climb back up to No. 3 in the Associated Press Top 25 and the US LBM Coaches Poll after their Week 6 win over Michigan State.

Oregon began the year ranked No. 3, but after two narrow wins over the Idaho Vandals and Boise State Broncos, the Ducks dropped to No. 9 in the nation.

After a tumultuous Saturday that saw five of the country's top 11 teams lose, Oregon is back in third place, behind the Texas Longhorns and Ohio State Buckeyes.

However, Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt doesn't believe they should be that high.

In his weekly top 10 rankings, Klatt chose to keep the 4-1 Georgia Bulldogs at No. 3, ahead of the 5-0 Ducks and 5-0 Penn State Nittany Lions. Georgia is ranked No. 5 in the AP Top 25, behind Oregon and Penn State. They were No. 1 in the nation before falling to the Alabama Crimson Tide in Week 5, knocking them out of the top spot.

Klatt is receiving some backlash from fans on social media for this ranking, many of whom complain that Georgia shouldn't be this high in the rankings with a loss.

No matter what you think on the subject, it's clear that things will change even more in the future, as No. 2 Ohio State faces No. 3 Oregon this week, while No. 4 Penn State faces a dangerous USC- Team plays.
