Ariana Grande criticizes Celine Dion over her lip sync controversy

Ariana Grande appears to have taken a swipe at Celine Dion by impersonating the legendary singer during a skit Saturday Night Live.

Grande performed Dion's impersonation as she played the singer's role as UFC spokesperson during the skit.

The 31-year-old singer sang the 56-year-old singer's vocals Now it all comes back to me with additional lyrics.

Grande mimicked Dion and said, “Football is a sport that connects us to who we were.”

She continued, “That's why I, Celine Dion, did a promo for Sunday Night Football last week, okay?

“But football is not the only sport that connects us to our past… there is another sport whose timeless emotions ignite the bittersweet memories that live in my soul and in the octagon.”

The segment where Grande impersonates Dion comes shortly after the tag My heart Will Go On The hitmaker has been accused of lip-syncing her live performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The performance, which took place in August, was recently televised, where the 56-year-old singer reportedly performed a pre-recorded set.

Furthermore, Paris 2024 officials have not responded to such claims as the allegations escalate in response to the promise that the show would take place entirely live.
