2024 Chicago Marathon live stream and TV broadcast times for Sunday's race

More than 50,000 runners will run in the 46th annual Chicago Marathon on Sunday morning. The race begins just after 7 a.m., with spectator access to Grant Park beginning at 9:30 a.m

NBC 5 Chicago and Telemundo will televise the race live from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. NBC's live stream of the marathon is below:

Other ways to watch the race include the NBC 5 Chicago and Telemundo apps. The live stream broadcast lasts until 3 p.m

Runners will start in a series of waves between 7:20 a.m. and 8:35 a.m. Sunday morning's weather is expected to be partly sunny, with a high around 50 degrees.

Top finishers are expected to complete the 26.2-mile course in just over two hours. Kelvin Kiptum set the world record at the 2023 Chicago Marathon with an official time of 2:00.35. Kiptum died in a car accident in his native Kenya earlier this year.

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon returns to the city on Sunday for the 46th running of the race.

From the first Chicago Marathon to Sunday's race, Mueller and Burt are the only two runners to have competed in and completed all 45 marathons. Despite their age, both have a goal of completing 50 Chicago Marathons in a row.

For Pendergrass, the marathon Sunday is about honoring her brother Grant DeHoogh, who died of a drug overdose in 2021 at the age of 26.
