Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is going viral after accidentally throwing a pass into his teammate's face

Caleb Williams threw a pass into his teammate's face as the Chicago Bears' offense failed in the early stages of their London game against Jacksonville.

Chicago managed just seven yards in its first six plays as it was forced to punt on each of its first two drives at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Williams, the No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft, initially had trouble finding his wide receivers in London.

And the Bears' offensive woes reached a hilarious new low when Williams' pass attempt only hit offensive lineman Matt Pryor's face.

The quarterback tried to make a sidearm pass after escaping some pressure, but Pryor got in his way and the linebacker blocked him.

The ball fell into space, but it was ruled an incomplete pass, fortunately for the Chicago quarterback.

The clip soon flooded social media and fans trolled Williams over the pass. “A clown show so far,” wrote one. “As a Bears fan, this is funny,” wrote another.

Some fans unearthed a clip on social media from the Bears' game against the Falcons in 2022 when former quarterback Justin Fields threw a pass into the back of his head to teammate Michael Schofield.

On Sunday, Williams recovered from the comical error by hitting Cole Kmet twice in the end zone to give Chicago a 14-3 halftime lead.
