Will there be a Black Friday 2024 deal for Prime Video or Prime Video Channels?

One of the top targets on Black Friday will be retail giant Amazon, but fans of streaming services might be interested in another type of discount from the company: ways to watch Prime Video for cheap.

Black Friday is an annual sales season that grew out of the titular Post-Friday weekend, which this year falls on Friday, November 29th. Various retailers will be launching their deals between now and November, and for the vast majority we'll likely see discounts on things you can buy online.

Amazon is one of the biggest names on Black Friday and its discounts also extend to streaming service Prime Video. Prime Video lets you watch a range of classic movies and box set TV shows. Additionally, the company frequently releases original films and shows, and several must-watch series come from the streamer every year.

Since Prime Video is officially a “benefit” of an Amazon Prime membership, there are no discounts on a subscription itself, but Amazon may find ways to incentivize you to sign up. Previously, Amazon Prime's free trial has been improved to help you sign up, especially since the membership allows for next-day shopping on many of your Black Friday purchases.

In recent years there have been really lucrative Prime Video Black Friday offers on Prime Video Channels. These are basically add-on packages that cost a little more per month, but also allow you to watch additional movies, shows, live performances, sports, or other content.

There are tons of Prime Video channels, from big names (Paramount Plus, Britbox, Starz, etc.) to some niche collections of videos for specific goals (Daily Burn for workout videos, The Coda Collection for live music, and The Great Courses for video courses). are some examples). Over the past few years, Prime Video has offered numerous deals on channels, meaning you can get your first few months of your subscription at a heavily discounted price. If I were making predictions for Black Friday 2024, I would guess that this will likely happen again.
