Two starters return to the active roster for Packers vs. Cardinals Week 6

play

GREEN BAY – On a rain-soaked Lambeau Field, the Green Bay Packers will receive reinforcements on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.

Cornerback Jaire Alexander and receiver Christian Watson will be active against the Cardinals. Alexander missed the last two games with a groin injury. Watson only missed last week's game with an ankle injury.

Watson's return coincides with Romeo Doubs' return to the field after he was suspended last week for conduct detrimental to the team. Together, they will provide quarterback Jordan Love with a full complement of targets.

Defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt is the only inactive starter, missing his second straight game with an ankle injury. Defensive lineman Brenton Cox Jr., tackle Andre Diillard, tackle Travis Glover, tight end John FitzPatrick and safety Kitan Oladapo are also inactive. FitzPatrick was signed to the active roster from the Atlanta Falcons practice squad this week.

The Packers placed tight end Luke Musgrave on injured reserve this week. They have called fullback/tight end Andrew Beck from the practice squad to the active gameday roster.

The Cardinals will be without kicker Matt Prater due to a knee injury. They will be using backup Chad Ryland for the second week in a row. Ryland was 1-2 against the Kansas City Chiefs last week and missed a field goal inside the 50-yard line.
