The Eagles are expected to cut ties with the vet after a seven-year tenure

The Philadelphia Eagles roster will certainly not look quite the same at the end of the season.

Philadelphia has already taken numerous steps, and there are certainly more to come. The Eagles could certainly look to expand on the trade market in the next few weeks. The deadline is November 5th. Philadelphia has the resources and cap space to make a deal and should definitely look to add something.

The Eagles could also be cut from the roster. FanSided's Jake Beckman compiled a list of five players who may not make it through the season and had seven-year veteran Avonte Maddox on his list.

“Avonte is another guy who has given a lot to the Eagles,” Beckman said. “You can see that when he's on the court he gives 100% on every snap (apart from when he was talking to Mike Evans about Fortnite). Unfortunately, this effort comes at a price. He plays really physical, but his body.” He's been injured for as long as he's been healthy the last three years, and now that he's healthy, he's not playing as well.

“There are enough teams out there that could use Avonte Maddox that trading him this year seems realistic. If he's not traded, he's on a one-year deal and likely won't be re-signed next spring.”

Maddox was a great player for the Eagles, but it was already reported that Cooper DeJean will take over the starting job. Could a move be imminent?
