Daniel Jones' primetime record is something the NY Giants QB is under intense attack for

What everyone saw from NY Giants quarterback Daniel Jones against the Seattle Seahawks was exactly what the doctor ordered for this offense. In a 29-20 win, Jones threw for 257 yards and two touchdowns on the road.

With the win, the G-Men improved to 2-3 and now hope to get to .500 with a W against the Cincinnati Bengals in prime time. Here's the thing, though: Primetime and Danny Dimes don't really mix well.

It's no secret that Jones was tough on the Giants playing under the bright lights. The fact is, he's 1-13 in prime time in his career, the worst record of any quarterback since 1970. That's obviously a bad picture for Jones, but he has a great opportunity to change history for a 1 on Sunday night -4 to change Bengals roster.

Earlier this year, Jones and Big Blue faced off against the Dallas Cowboys for a while Thursday Night Football duel and they were in a great position to record an upset win. Instead, Dallas made the necessary plays late to record a 20-15 win. The loss undoubtedly hurt the Giants, especially because they were on the verge of getting the job done.

In Week 6 against the Bengals, Joe Burrow and Co. hope to save their season. In the loss to the Ravens in Week 5, Burrow threw five touchdowns, but the Cincy defense did him no favors in an overtime loss.

In fact, Cincinnati's defense is arguably the worst in the NFL, which could open the door for Jones to have another strong performance. He'll be without Malik Nabers, but Darius Slayton proved against Seattle that he can be Jones' top target if needed.

With a win on Sunday night, Jones can silence even more of his critics. If he loses, his primetime record will drop to 1-14 and people will surely rush to social media to troll him left and right.
