After the game, head coach Dan Campbell addressed the media with a heavy heart and spoke about Hutchinson's devastating injury. His emotional reaction reflected the significant impact Hutchinson had on the team.
Campbell said: “This is tough. You know, it was hard. And he is in good hands at the moment, he is being looked after. He will stay here (in Dallas). You know, obviously he's going to be out for a while.” So that's tough, man. It's hard when you lose someone like him, but afterward we'll know a lot more and of course wish him the best.

Before his unfortunate departure, Hutchinson had had a phenomenal season and was the NFL's sack leader with 6.5 sacks.
