Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Georgia Bulldogs Opening Odds: Cover or Not?

After a week's break for the Crimson Tide and the Bulldogs, the two top-four teams will meet again in a major duel of the college football elite.

Earlier this summer, Georgia was rated as a 4.5-point favorite for this game. After UGA struggled with Kentucky and Bama dismantled Wisconsin last week, the spread moved two points closer. According to FanDuel, Georgia is now a 2.5-point favorite with an over/under of 49.5. The line hasn't changed since last Sunday.

The Bulldogs were a favorite in Las Vegas in the preseason, but Kirby Smart's team has had some trouble scoring points. After three games, they are ranked 58th in scoring at 31.7 points per game. They also rank 90th with 11 touchdowns scored – almost half of Alabama's total of 21.

Unless something drastic happens this week, it seems unlikely that the line and the O/U will change.
