The new Bruins Center is already a great addition

The Boston Bruins made a huge move last summer when they signed Elias Lindholm to a seven-year, $54.25 million contract. Since the club needed help at the center position and had previously been linked to Lindholm, it wasn't particularly surprising that he ended up in Boston.

Even in his first games, Lindholm proves to be a great addition. On offense, he's been pretty impressive, posting two goals, five points and a plus-3 rating in his first three games. In addition, he has not only entered the scorers list, but also through his clever play with the puck.

Another big reason the Bruins signed Lindholm was his outstanding defensive play. So far he has lived up to expectations in this regard and has been a good replacement on the penalty kill.

Although we're still in the early stages of signing Lindholm, it's already benefiting the Bruins greatly. He's on track to have a big rebound season and it will be fun to see how he fares from here.
