Former President Donald Trump has accused Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign of having outsized influence on Fox News.

The network announced Monday that the vice president had agreed to participate in an interview with chief political anchor Bret Baier, scheduled to air Oct. 16.

In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump criticized Fox News for what he said was disproportionate airtime given to Harris campaign officials

He particularly singled out Ian Sams, the senior adviser to the vice president, claiming that Sams is “virtually the owner of the network.” Trump also accused Fox News of using numerous “Harris Radical Left Democrat mouthpieces” throughout the program.

The former president's statement comes as Harris appears to be expanding her media presence, having previously avoided Fox News.

Recent appearances include interviews with 60 minutes, The Howard Stern Showand the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, which demonstrates an effort to reach a diverse audience.

The vice president will also participate in a CNN town hall hosted by Anderson Cooper on Oct. 23 and will continue to expand her media presence as the election cycle intensifies.
