Watch: When Haris Rauf slapped Kamran Ghulam in a PSL match

NEW DELHI: When Kamran Ghulam grabbed headlines on debut against England in the second Test in Multan on Tuesday, he was praised not just for the hundred but also for the fact that he had achieved the feat after beating a star like Babar had replaced Azam in the team.
Ghulam has amassed countless runs in all three formats of the game since his first-class debut in 2013. His highest performance came in 2020/21 when he scored 1,249 runs in 11 domestic matches.
This broke a 36-year record.
Ghulam had no chance despite being called up to Pakistan's preliminary squad for a home series against South Africa in 2021.
Ghulam was part of the Pakistan team in the one-day international against New Zealand in Karachi last year but could only play because he was Haris Sohail's replacement after he sustained a concussion.
After Pakistan's innings defeat in the first Test, Ghulam finally made his Test debut by taking the place of the struggling Babar Azam.
The 29-year-old debutant seized the opportunity and scored a superb 118 on the opening day of the second Test.
But now a two-year-old video featuring Pakistan's star pacer is going viral Haris Rauf had slapped Ghulam in a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match.
The incident occurred during a game between Lahore Qalandars And Peshawar Zalmi.
Rauf was seen slapping his teammate Ghulam and expressing his anger after the latter failed to hold on to a catch during the recent PSL 2022 league match between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi.
Ghulam had Hazratullah Zazai of Peshawar Zalmi dropped off Rauf, but on the penultimate delivery of the same over, Fawad Ahmed took a good catch to dismiss Mohammad Haris. As the Lahore Qalandars players gathered to celebrate the wicket, Rauf Ghulam batted in frustration.
To his credit, Ghulam took it in a sporting manner despite Shaheen Shah Afridi trying to calm Rauf down.

Rauf was reprimanded by the referee for his shocking behavior on the field.
It is not the first time that Rauf has had arguments. Remember the incident when he almost got into a fight with a fan after the T20 World Cup?
