The Steelers' quarterback change resulted in Justin Fields being one of the most dropped players in fantasy football leagues.

Fields has been a mid-tier fantasy quarterback since the beginning, so it doesn't make sense for any fantasy football player to keep him on the roster going forward.

Russell Wilson's impending start in Week 7 doesn't make him an immediate starter in fantasy circles, however, as he's an unknown quantity.

Wilson is recovering from a calf injury and didn't get many reps in the game with George Pickens and the Steelers' other pass catchers.

There's a strong chance that no one will draft a Steelers quarterback for at least the next few weeks until Wilson proves he can produce decent results.

Taylor returned to practice on Tuesday, which bodes well for the fantasy players who drafted him highly this season.

This is also bad news for Trey Sermon's fantasy stock. He doesn't have much value when Taylor is out on the field.

Sermon hasn't been particularly effective over the past two weeks, failing to reach the 40-yard mark against the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars. He scored a touchdown against the Jags, but wasn't among the top running backs.

Taylor had four touchdowns and three straight games with more than 80 rushing yards before suffering an ankle injury.
