How to watch the Bengals' Ring of Honor game on Monday Night Football

CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Bengals face the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football at Paycor Stadium.

The game begins tonight on the Bengals' home turf, but it's more than just a Monday Night Football game – it's Ring of Honor night.

The Bengals will induct HB Corey Dillon and NT Tim Krumrie into the team's Ring of Honor during halftime.

Here’s how to watch the Bengals game tonight on Monday Night Football:

  • The special coverage begins at 7 p.m. on WCPO 9
  • Game starts on WCPO 9 at 20:15

Dillon and Krumrie will join the likes of Ken Anderson, Willie Anderson, Paul Brown, Isaac Curtis, Boomer Esiason, Chad Johnson, Anthony Munoz and Ken Riley on Monday night.
Dillon, who played for the team from 1997 to 2003, was undoubtedly the best running back in Bengals history. In six of his seven seasons with the club, he rushed for at least 1,100 yards. With 8,061 yards on 1,865 carries, he is the all-time best runner in club history. He ran for 45 touchdowns.

He was a tall running back (6'1″, 220 lbs) with tremendous speed.

He remains the Bengals' all-time leader in rushing attempts, rushing yards and 100-yard rushing games. He was selected to the Pro Bowl three years in a row from 1999 to 2001.

“When I heard the news about Mike Brown, it immediately made the day even more joyful,” Dillon said. “We had a great conversation. It means a lot to me. It's my legacy. I'm happy and glad that this is happening at this time. I'm over the moon. I have to thank the fans for their love and support. It's been a great year getting to know everyone. I can't thank them enough.”

Krumrie was one of the most notable draft choices in team history “in terms of value,” according to the Bengals. He was selected by the Bengals in the 10th round of the 1983 draft and spent his entire 12-year football career in Cincinnati.

During his time on the team, he earned a reputation for being tough and physical.

He led the Bengals to Super Bowl XXII in 1988, when the team had the best record in the NFL. That game went down in Cincinnati history for several reasons: The Bengals lost that Super Bowl to the San Francisco 49ers; and Krumrie suffered a serious leg injury in the first quarter and was carried off the field.

This NFL injury went around the world and was etched in the memories of many who witnessed it: Krumrie ultimately suffered four fractures in his lower leg.

“I want to thank the Cincinnati Bengals fans for their votes and for recognizing my play on the field and my effort every game,” Krumrie said. “I am proud to have my name listed alongside my 1988 teammates who helped make my dream of playing in a Super Bowl come true, as well as the other deserving members of the Ring of Honor. I especially want to thank Mike Brown for giving this farm boy from Wisconsin a chance to succeed in the NFL. This is an honor I could never have imagined.”

The Ring of Honor will be held for the fourth consecutive year this year. Bengals officials said the award, created in 2021, will be a recurring tradition, with the names of the inductees emblazoned on the east facade of Paycor Stadium.

The first inductees, Paul Brown and Anthony Munoz, were selected by Bengals officials when their 2021 Ring of Honor inductions were announced; later that year, season ticket holders voted for Ken Anderson and Ken Riley to join them.

In 2022, Willie Anderson and Isaac Curtis became the fifth and sixth members inducted into the Ring of Honor, an elite Bengals club that represents former players, coaches and others who have made a significant impact on the franchise. Both Anderson and Curtis were officially inducted on September 29, 2022, during halftime of the game against the Miami Dolphins.

In 2023, Boomer Esiason and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson became the seventh and eighth people inducted into the Cincinnati Bengals' Ring of Honor.
