Liam Payne's ex Maya Henry issued a cease and desist letter before his death

“Since we broke up he keeps messaging me and calling my phone up, not just from his phone number but from different phone numbers so I never know where it's coming from,” she claimed in a TikTok Video. “He'll create new iCloud accounts to send me an iMessage – it's always a damn new iCloud account. Every time I see one pop up on my phone I think, 'Here we go again.'”

The model continued, “Also, (he's) going to email me…not just me, but he's going to blow up my mom's phone. “Is this normal behavior for you?”

Us confirmed on Wednesday, October 16 that Payne died after falling from the third floor of his Argentine hotel. He was 31 years old. Buenos Aires Metropolitan Police were dispatched earlier in the day to the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, where Payne was staying. According to the official police report, officers responded to a call reporting an “aggressive male who may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”

“At 5:04 p.m., we were alerted via 911 and the integrated public safety system to a person in the courtyard of the CasaSur Hotel,” said the director of SAME (Emergency Medical Assistance System). Alberto Crescenti said in a television interview on La Nacion. “Unfortunately he suffered injuries that were incompatible with life as a result of the fall, so we had to confirm his death. There was no possibility of resuscitation.”

Henry has not yet publicly commented on Payne's death. The former couple dated on and off from 2018 to 2022 before calling off their engagement. Payne considered the end of their relationship before striking up a romance with her Kate Cassidywith whom he was still together at the time of his death.

“At this point, more than anything, I feel like I'm disappointed in myself for continuing to hurt people,” he said on the “Diary of a CEO” podcast in June 2021. “That bothers me.” I was just not very good at relationships. I’m just not very good at it, so I just need to work on myself before I commit to anyone else.”

He added: “I feel like I achieved exactly that in my last relationship. I just stopped giving a very good version of myself that I didn’t appreciate and that I didn’t like.”
